Milon

Milon is an Ancient Greek name meaning “yew” from Greek milos. It’s often been Latinized as Milo, which also happens to be an old Germanic of Miles, a name of uncertain origin and meaning though it’s been linked to Slavic mil (gracious, dear) and Latin mīles (soldier). Milon is also a French surname deriving from given name Miles.
