Ileana could also a variant spelling of Iliana,  a Greek and Bulgarian female name; in Greek it’s the feminine form of Ilias, the modern Greek transcription of Elias which derives from Elijah, a Hebrew male name meaning “my God is Yahweh”, while in Bulgarian Iliana is the feminine form of Iliya which also derives from Elijah.
