Dariela

Dariela is a Spanish female name which seems to be the Spanish form of Daria, the feminine form of Darius which comes from Persian Dārayavahush meaning “to possess excellence” or “he who holds firm to good” from dâraya (to possess, to hold) and vahu (good). Another possible meaning I’ve seen for it is that it’s the feminine form of Dariel, an English male name which seems to be a variant of Darrell which comes from French surname D’Airelle meaning “of Airelle”, referring to someone who came from there.

Origin: Persian, Norman-French
