Doran

Doran is an Irish male name which comes from a surname, an anglicized form of O’Deoradhain meaning “descendant of Deorain”, the latter derived from Old Irish deoradán meaning “exile, wanderer” via deorad (stranger, outlander, exile, pilgrim). Doran could also be a variant spelling of Doron which comes from Ancient Greek meaning “gift”.
