Milton

Milton comes from an English surname with two meanings. The first is that it means “mill settlement” or “mill by the settlement” from Old English mylen (mill) and tun (enclosure, settlement) or it could be made up from Old English middel (middle) and tun so essentially meaning “middle settlement”.
