Eirlys

Eirlys (pr. eir-lys; Forvo) is a Welsh female name meaning “snowdrop” made up from Welsh elements eira (snow) and llysiau (vegetable, herb), so named because it is one of the first flowers to bloom in spring, sometimes even when there’s still snow on the ground.

Origin: Proto-Indo-European
