Python

Python is the name of a giant serpent or dragon in Greek mythology who lived near Delphi and was later slain by the god ApolloPython is also the name of several figures in Ancient Greece, including a student of Plato. Python is also the name of a genus of nonvenomous snakes found in Africa, Asia, and Australia. The name comes from Ancient Greek putho meaning “to rot, to decay”.
